Ablution method


How to make ablution;



Cleanliness (Taharah) is an important precondition of Islamic worship. Wudu is an essential part of Cleanliness. Salah(prayer) is not valid without Wudu' or Tayammum(dry Ablution). Allah says in the Qur'an : 
"Surely Allah loves those who turn to Him and those who care for cleanliness" (2:22).

Procedure according to QURAN & SUNNAH 
A Muslim begins every action with intention. To yourself, make the intention to cleanse yourself for prayer, for the sake of Allah.To yourself, say "Bismillah ar-Rahman ar-Raheem" (In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful).
1. Wash your hands three times, making sure the water reaches between the fingers and all over the hands. (As shown in picture 1)

2. Bring a handful of water to your mouth and rinse it thoroughly three times. (As shown in picture 2)

3. Sniff water into your nose three times to clean it. Use your right hand to bring up the water, and your left hand to expel it. (As shown in picture 3 & 4)
4. Wash your entire face three times. (As shown in picture 5 & 6)

5. Wash your arms, up to the elbows, three times. Start with the right. (As shown in picture 7)

6. Use your wet hands to wipe over your head once, from front to back and front again. (As shown in picture 8 a & 8 b)


7. Use your wet fingers to wipe the inside and outside of your ears, once. (As shown in picture 9)

8. Wash your both feet up to the ankles three times. Start with the right. (As shown in picture 10)

9. Dry off.
At the end of the above steps recite:
"Ash-hadu an la ilaha  illal lahu wa ash-hadu anna Muammadan abduhu wa rasuluh."
Meaning:( I testify that there is no god but Allah and He is One and has no partner and I also testify that Muhammad is His servant and messenger.)
You Should repeat your Wudu after :
1. Natural discharge (e.g. urine, stool, wind and the like)
2. Flow of blood or  pus from any part of the body.
3. Full mouth vomiting 
4. Falling asleep.
